Quick story time.
I started my photography journey as a newspaper photojournalist, capturing stories every day with my camera. Everything changed when a friend asked me to take candid photos at their wedding. Seeing the joy those photos brought them ignited a spark in me.
For the next decade, I threw myself into wedding and portrait photography. It was incredibly rewarding, but by 2012, I realized I needed more balance. I wanted to spend more time with my young family and enjoy the benefits of a stable job—like paid vacations, health insurance, and a 401K.
So, I made a big leap and found a job with a company I truly love. I’m grateful for the stability and growth it has given me.
My passion for photography never faded though. I explored different paths, but my heart always led me back to weddings and portraits. Now, I’m thrilled to embrace that passion and capture those amazing moments.
I’ve had the privilege of photographing hundreds of weddings, and I would be honored to capture yours too.
